LWC Yard Debris / Compost Collection Schedule
Yard Debris and Compost are collected weekly on Sunday & Monday mornings.
Each resident may leave up to 6 bags and/or branch bundles per week.
The branch bundles must be tied in bundles that can be easily picked up and weigh no more than 45 pounds.
All bags must be secured and weigh no more than 45 lbs.
Any bag or branch bundle weighing over 45 lbs. will not be collected
Fireworks are prohibited in the City of Depoe Bay and in Little Whale Cove
Smoking is not permitted on LWC paths, roads, or common property.
Forest, Cove & Wetland
Western Sword Ferns – These plants are easily identifiable and have been around for a very long time. Fossil records of fern-like plants date back almost 400 million years. Ferns and similar plants were a dominant plant species until about 230 million years ago.
To help preserve the balance of nature in the tide pools, touching or removing marine life is prohibited.
Special care should be taken when visiting the Cove to prevent dogs from running off-leash, swimming in the Cove, or disturbing wildlife in the area.

November 2025 Board Meeting
Accomplishments:
1. Racoon guards installed on main dumpsters.
2. Crow’s Nest sheet rock repairs, paint & 4 handrails installed.
3. Lap siding completed on the far end of the storage by the mailbox.
4. Contractor completed the valve repairs at the Recreation Center for water pressure consistency.
December Objectives:
1. Bids for road striping from Gatehouse to Tintinnabulary.
2. N. Ocean path vegetation clearing & striping.
3. Continued moss spraying along paths & roads.
4. Holiday Lighting of Recreation Center and Gatehouse.
