Water Storage and Filtration
- FEMA recommends storing 1 gallon of water per person per day for 2 – 6 weeks.
- Tap water may not be available or safe for drinking or to prepare food in an emergency situation. The CDC recommends that tap water and stored water should be boiled.
- Bring water to a full roiling boll and boil for 1 minute.
