I just noticed this feature. Obviously, I am not visiting the LWC Website as often as I should. Thank you for the Safety Committee “plug”. Perhaps I missed it, but was there anything in Cove Notes (or some other media) about this forum? I see people respond to Nextdoor.com so maybe LWC residents might start using this forum. Again, thank you.

Hi Michael,
This forum is still a work in progress. Good moderators/people to assist running the forum would be needed. I’m just guessing at the categories, but you as a community know what you’ll want on here.

I just stumbled upon your post while updating the website, sorry for such a late reply. I’ll tick the checkbox for “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” so I can see your replies in the future.

It’s a good full-featured forum, and it’s all local/gated to members so it would be more private than Nextdoor. These things usually catch on by word of mouth, but a post announcing it would definitely help.

I’ll check with LWC admin to see if they want to say something about it.

I am new to forums. Do you “tag” topics with the hash tag, i.e., #? And, if that is the case, do we want to consider a standardized list of tags, e.g., #radio or #logistics?
