ICS Field Exercise
Thursday, May 7
1-4 pm in the Rec Center

On Thursday, May 7th, the LWC Incident Command System (ICS) will conduct a field exercise to simulate how its members would respond to an emergency situation. Our safety captains, wearing neon yellow vests and name tags, will go to their designated safety areas to practice gathering information about the status of residents and homes, and to record fallen trees and debris, blocked or damaged roads, etc. according to a tbd scenario.
The Safety Captains look forward to talking to residents who open their doors and will give each household the new “LWC Emergency Preparedness & Help” fridge magnet. (more detail to follow) record data, then report it to the ICS management team at the Rec Center.
