Food Safety during and after a power outage

Emergency Preparedness Tips
- Label the cables for your rechargeable devices, and keep them together.
- It will be a cash economy following a major disaster and ATM’s will not work without power. Consider how much cash you will want to have available while the power is out.
- Locate the pull bar on your garage door. Electric garage doors will not open during a power outage.
- Keep the fuel tank on your car half full. Many gas stations can not pump gas when the power is out.
